There are dozens of voice prompts used by the Interactive portion of the ComQuest system.  They are all stored as 8-bit or 16-bit, 8,000 cycle MONO A/mu-Law wave files in the C:\ComQuest folder of the Fileserver.

Here's a list of the customizable prompts that your station can record.  The reference number, formerly the only method used in DOS to identify each prompt, is also listed, as well as its actual file name.  When recording these prompts through Cool Edit, or in the production room, you should save each file, in the proper wave format, using the long-file name displayed.  If you load the prompts through the phone line (by dialing-in to the Interactive system), you will use the four-digit prompt number to access each prompt on the server (punch the four-digit number into the touch tone pad on the telephone).

The DOS filenames for each of these prompts is actually the DOS number listed above, pre-pended with P100 and an extension of .VOX.  For example, the first prompt in DOS listed above, 7000, would actually have a filename of P1007000.VOX, and be stored in the C:\MUSIC folder on the DOS Fileserver.

Here is suggested copy for each of the voice prompts which may be customized by your station.
