Printed Mean Trend report

The Mean Score Trend report filter asks you to specify only an end date.  Based on that end date, all songs that had scores for that day and the 6 days prior will be indicated under the TW (This Week) column. The end date you specify in the filter determines what scores will be included in this report.  All scores for the 6-day period prior to the End Date you enter on the filter screen will be calculated and displayed under the TW (This Week) column of the report.  Scores that are from 7-13 days prior to the End Date you enter will be under the LW (Last Week) column; scores from 14-20 days before the End Date you enter will fall into the 2W (Two Weeks Ago) column, and scores from 21-27 days before the End Date you specify will be displayed under the 3W (Three Weeks Ago) column.

HandIf you are using research cycles, instead of the 7-day weeks, the last four cycles will be used to compile this report.

As you can see, the date you select as your End Date is critical in determining which week particular scores belong to.  For example, if today is Tuesday, a score from last Wednesday would be included as part of "This Week" (the 7-day period defined as "This Week" would include all scores collected between and including last Wednesday and today, Tuesday).  But tomorrow (Wednesday), that same score will become part of the "Last Week" score totals, as it has now moved one day further away from the End Date you specify for your research report.

The Mean Score is calculated by adding together all the 1-5 scores for each song (all other scores are ignored), and dividing by the total number of 1-5 scores for each song.

HandIf you are using options other than 1-5 to rank popularity, you should not use the Mean Score Reports.

Only songs with scores from the most recent week (the end date you entered on the filter, plus the 6 days prior) are displayed.  This is true with all the Rolling Averages reports as well.  If there were scores for a song last week, or the week before, etc., but not from the current week, the song is not displayed.  Also, if you are using the Song Score Threshold setting in Defaults, each song must have at least the number of scores you have specified in that setting, or it will not be compiled and displayed in any reports.
